Austinmer, Thirroul, Bulli, Woonona, Corrimal, Wollongong and Figtree sit in the Wollongong council area, along with Dapto to the south-west. Albion Park, Warilla and Shellharbour sit in the Shellharbour council area. The whole of it is the strip between the escarpment and the sea, which is about forty minutes end to end.

Two councils, and why that is the only boundary that matters here
Family law has no council dimension at all — there are no permits, no approvals and no local rules that change what happens. The councils appear on this page only because they are how this coast is actually divided, and because Shellharbour being its own council rather than a suburb of Wollongong is the reason it gets a page here and Dapto does not.
Why only two of the eleven have their own page
Because the other nine share what the two named places have: the same court, the same law and the same fees. Wollongong is the city and the location of the Court's registry; Shellharbour is its own council area. Austinmer, Thirroul, Bulli, Woonona, Corrimal, Figtree, Dapto, Albion Park and Warilla are served exactly the same way, and nine near-identical pages about them would say nothing the two below do not already say. This site would rather say so than do it.
